Grilled Turkey Burgers with Spinach and Sriracha Mayo
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh spinach
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- Lettuce leaves for garnish
- Sliced tomatoes for garnish
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, chopped spinach, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking
Grill the turkey burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165F 75C
While the burgers are grilling, prepare the Sriracha mayo by mixing mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce in a small bowl
Toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until lightly browned
Spread Sriracha mayo on the bottom half of each bun
Place a turkey burger patty on top of the mayo, followed by lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes
Top with the other half of the bun, and serve hot
